Can you build a bilingual English and French website?
Yes. We build the site with separate English and French URLs, translated menus, forms and emails, and hreflang tags so Google shows the right language. You provide or approve the French copy; machine translation alone is rarely good enough for a Quebec audience.
Does my website need to follow Quebec’s Law 25?
If you collect personal information from people in Quebec, Law 25 applies. On the website side that usually means tracking technologies switched off until the visitor agrees, a clear privacy policy and a named person responsible for personal information. We build the consent and form side; your legal adviser confirms the policy.
What does AODA mean for my website?
Ontario’s AODA requires designated public sector organisations, and businesses and non-profits with 50 or more employees in Ontario, to make public websites meet WCAG 2.0 Level AA. We design and test to WCAG 2.1 AA, which covers the 2.0 requirements.
Can your online store charge GST, HST, PST and QST correctly?
Yes, through the platform’s tax engine rather than custom code. Shopify and WooCommerce can apply rates by province once your registrations are entered; your accountant confirms where you are registered.
What hours do you overlap with Canadian time zones?
Our hours are 9am to 8pm India time. That gives a live window of 30 minutes to 1.5 hours in Toronto mornings, more in Atlantic Canada and Newfoundland, and no live overlap with Vancouver, where we work asynchronously and book calls ahead.
Who owns the code, designs and accounts?
You own everything we build for you. Source code, designs and content are transferred to you in full on payment, with no licence fees or lock-in, and domains, hosting, app store, analytics and payment accounts are opened in your company’s name from day one. We are happy to sign your NDA before you share any project details.
Can you send email newsletters that follow CASL?
Yes. We set up sign-up forms that record consent, a sender identity and a working unsubscribe in every message, which are the basics Canada’s anti-spam law expects.
